Last week we suggested you listen to music recorded by the orchestras of Carlos Di Sarli and of Osvaldo Pugliese. We also mentioned a few titles, and in looking those up we hope you discovered a whole lot more. They are still relevant to this week’s lesson, so do listen to more of them.
In addition, here are three more tango orchestras to look out for, and four suggestions of recordings they made to start you off with links to available recordings on YouTube:
If you want more (background) information you can go to the ‘www.Todotango.com‘ website, on their list of artists there are hundreds of Tango musicians that also formed orchestras or groups, and made recordings. This site does not have links to every recording made, so instead try ‘googling’ for them as:- ‘Recording by (orchestra) of (tune title)’.
