Saturday 24 September 2022 Tango E14 are welcoming Hernan Brusa as our guest teacher and DJ at our Tango E14 class and milonga.
Hernan Brusa is a regular returning guest teacher due to his warm and friendly manner and his detailed and deep knowledge of tango and how to teach it. He is always requested by our students. If interested please click on the following video of Hernan dancing with his beautiful wife:
Class on milonga
Hernan’s playful approach to milonga is addictive and his use of different rhythms and syncopation is admirable. Hence we have requested Hernan to teach a class on milonga and traspie. Traspie according to Michael Lavocah author of several books on Tango music and orchestras. Quoted from ‘Tango Stories: Musical Secrets’: “Traspie literally means trapped, across the foot, i.e. to stumble. It refers to a particular way of using syncopated double time in milonga with a change of direction.”
