There is NO DLR service to Crossharbour this Saturday 7th June!
Not to panic! Here are alternative routes how to get to Tango E14 on Saturday 7th June:
1/ Jubilee line to Canary Wharf, then bus or walk. or D8 bus if coming from Stratford station via Bromley-by-Bow, All Saints, Canary Wharf, to Crossharbour and ASDA. See 4/ for how to walk from ASDA to St Johns Community Centre.
2/ Buses from Canary Wharf to ASDA / Crossharbour: 135 or 277.
There are DLR Rail replacement buses as well.
When catching a bus at Canary Wharf, make sure you are catching a bus that is going in the right direction – To ASDA / Crossharbour.
-*- Jubilee Line arrival, come up the Western-most Exit, so that when you emerge into the open air you are facing West.
Go to your left, and cross ‘Bank Street’ at the pedestrian lights. Continue walking up Bank Street / (against the flow of the traffic) to the bus stop. Catch a 135, 277, (or a Rail Replacement bus to ‘Crossharbour’).
-*- Elizabeth Line arrival, come up the Western Exit, then head Left / South as best you can. When you get to the road called ‘The North Colonnade’ go right and walk to the bus-stop which is underneath the DLR station. Catch a 135, 277, (or a Rail Replacement bus to ‘Crossharbour’).

3/ Walking from Canary Wharf Jubilee Line station,( which is between ‘Middle Dock’, ‘Reuters Plaza’, and ‘Jubilee park’). If Walking from Canary Wharf to Crossharbour, allow 10 – 15 minutes.
Head south, and cross Bank Street (as if you were going to catch a bus / as in ‘2/’ above.) But do not veer left to the bus stop. Just walk ahead through the glass doors, into the foyer of that building, and out the other (southern) side. There you will find a pedestrian bridge over the ‘South Dock’.
Cross this footbridge, then turn left.
After about 30 yards, turn right passing a collection of mobile food vendors which may be open. Keep walking south, passing the ‘Hilton’ Hotel on your left. Then, when you get to the next proper road, ‘Marsh Wall’, go to your left along ‘Marsh Wall’. Keep going past the side road on your right called ‘Millharbour’. On the corner of Marsh Wall and Millharbour is a tall building called ‘Pan Peninsula’.
You can cross ‘Marsh Wall’ wherever you like, but stay on that road. You are headed towards the DLR ‘South Quay’ station. When you have just passed ‘Pan Peninsula’ and are approaching the DLR station, turn right and walk south along the footpath. The ‘Millwall Inner Dock’ is on your left. Just walk along the edge of the dock until this is no longer possible.
Turn left onto a small street called ‘Pepper Street’, which will take you over an old fashioned ‘lifting’ bridge. Keep going straight along Pepper Street. You will go down a slope under the DLR, and the ‘Crossharbour’ DLR station. Cross the main road at the pedestrian lights. (The main road here might be called ‘East Ferry Road’ or ‘Limeharbour’, but don’t worry about that !). When you have crossed at the pedestrian lights do not turn left or right, but continue straight ahead over the pavement. You will then be in Glengall Grove. A pub, ‘The George’, is on your left.
Our hall, Saint John’s Community Centre is at 39 Glengall Grove, E14 3NE. is on your right after about 500 meters.

4/ How to get to 39 Glengall Grove from ASDA if you have never been there before:
When you get off the bus at ASDA you will see a large carpark with ASDA on one side, slightly uphill. On the other side of the carpark, on the slightly lower side there is a health centre/ doctor’s surgery. About 20 to 40 yards to the right of the health centre is a pathway. If you walk down this pathway it takes you immediately to Glengall Grove. Saint John’s Community Centre is on the left corner of this path and Glengall Grove.
