This Saturday we are in for another treat! Tango E14 is joyfully presenting Los Ocampo or Monica Romero and Omar Ocampo to teach a class on milonga. Don’t miss out on these world renown maestro’s of tango!
Often quoted “just wonderful people” by anyone that is a longstanding member of the tango scene albeit dancer, organiser or teachers, pro or not. They are very popular as teachers. They are not only long standing top Dancers, Performers and Teachers of Argentine Tango, but they are wonderfully accessible, approachable, and have been coming to London for a long time.

About Los Ocampo
Los Ocampo divide their time between teaching at their schools around the world, touring widely and performing at prestigious international venues. They are also official adjudicators at the annual International Tango Championships in Argentina and other international competitions. They are often engaged as cultural and artistic ambassadors for Argentine music and dance. Los Ocampo are masters not only of Argentine Tango but also of Argentina’s folkloric dances, such as Chacarera, Zamba and Malambo. Class on milonga
The last time they came to Tango E14 they did a wonderful class on the basics and origins of milonga and using Milongo Campera (milonga from the countryside) music and ideas, that was much slower than the milonga we are usual dancing and suiting the weather. Afterwards we asked everyone what topic they should teach the next time they come. The decision was unanimous: MILONGA.
Private tuition available
There are slots of an hour before or after this Saturday event for private tuition suitable for couples. If you are interested in booking a private class please ring Tony Lane on 02075383852.
