
Saturday 19 April Tony will be teaching a sequence he started about a month ago! As there are many variations possible all starting from ochos. He will show you what the possibilities are in a sequence that leads from simple ochos to more advanced movement principles such as a giro and into a volcada.

Saturday,19th April, Tony is teaching variations on ochos, leading to more advanced figures such as giros and volcadas. Suitable for beginners, to learn how to follow and lead giros and vary timing, direction (forward and backward as well as size of steps, rhythm and how much turning. Play and improvise with speed, rhythm and size and degree of turn. For more experienced dancers giros and volcadas will be offered.
Private tuition available

Getting here
Take the Dockland’s Light Rail (DLR) to Crossharbour station. At the foot of the station stairs, cross Eastferry Road at the pedestrian crossing, then keep going straight ahead as you are on Glengall Grove. The hall is 150 metres down on the right.
Buses 277, 135, D6 and D8 will take you to the ASDA store at Crosshabour. Walk along the path on the right of the Health Centre car park, this takes you directly to Glengall Grove and St John’s Community Hall.
