Saturday 24 January Tango E14 is open again for class and milonga! We will have Andy Warner for some beautiful tunes again for us to dance too and the lovely lighting of Stuart McLenahan.
This is our usual afternoon starting with class at 1pm and finishing with a milonga at 2.30pm till 5pm in our usual hall at St Johns Community Centre. Stuart and Anita will be teaching the class on calesitas again and we are both looking forward to a lovely, friendly and laidback afternoon and sharing this with you!
Class on calesitas
This Saturday we start as usual with the 2 levels together and have half an hour of grounding and technique exercises we will practice this week pivoting and disassociation. After the first half an hour in the class we will continue calesita but extend into cross and from forward ocho and teach you the anti or reverse calesita in.
For more experienced dancers we will extend the calesita into cross and from forward ocho. We also going over more various decorations and how to perform them as well as how to lead and follow the planeo. And for the leads: how to switch from calesita to planeo and reverse.
