Saturday 29 November the successful formula will be repeated that dance classes will be split after 30min joint warm up and technique exercises. After we split in a beginner group and a more advanced level group.
Following the class at 2.30pm the milonga is on with the usual tunes from our house TDJ Andy Warner with tandas in twos and beautiful lighting from Stuart MacLenahan. Come and dance with the laidback Tango E14 community that find connection and self expression of the music the most important elements to strive for in our dancing and communication. As well as respecting the Argentinian cultural origins of Argentine Tango.
Class on rhythms for beginners and sacada in americano for improvers
All dancers start with grounded breathing, continued by technique, balancing and walking exercises. In the beginners group Tony will work on rhythmical walking and various speeds. For the improvers we will add a sacada in the Americana and follow with the combination for sacada in the forward ocho, sidestep and backward ocho in the giro. So, triple sacada whammy!
Private tuition available
There are slots of an hour before or after this Saturday event for private tuition suitable for couples. If you are interested in booking a private class please ring Tony Lane on 02075383852.
