Saturday 30 November Tango E14 is having a normal afternoon with Tony and Anita with this week’s class on multiple ganchos.
Our usual afternoon for all levels and abilities. Starting with basic movements for beginners, releasing the non standing leg and lengthening and strengthening the base leg. We will work on pivots and ochos for the beginners and the more experienced dancers will go over several different types of ganchos.
Class on multiple ganchos
After the last few weeks we will revisit releasing the non standing leg for followers and pivoting the base leg with a strong stable base for leaders as well as followers. Then we will revisit several types of ganchos in parallel and cross system. If we have time we will also show you how to use ganchos or which type of gancho lends itself more for rhythmic ganchos (triple in a row anyone?) or which ganchos you could use for melodic use of the music.
Private tuition available
There are slots of an hour before or after this Saturday event for private tuition suitable for couples. If you are interested in booking a private class please ring Tony Lane on 02075383852.
