Exciting times this Saturday 31st January Stuart is going to lead the way in teaching you how to dance planeos and ochoitos. Followed by our usual atmospheric lighted milonga!
After the class taught by Anita and Stuart, the usual milonga will kick off with beloved tango tunes by Andy Warner and he promised to change up his playlist, so we are looking forward to experiencing that and the usual fantastic lighting by Stuart and laidback attitude from our dancer community!
Class on planeos, ochos and ochoitos
According to Stuart we will start this Saturday simple with the basic led reverse cross, building up towards ochos, ochoitos, and more turning steps. We briefly recap ochos and the calesita to add planeos, where the leader leads the follower to go down and round instead of up as in the calesita and followed by a start of the giro; a figure where the follower goes around the leader so opposite to the calesita where the leaders walks around the follower. Both of these; planeos and calesitas will create lots of options for decorating or adornos for the followers, which we will show you.
Private classes available
There are slots available for private classes occasionally before the group class or after the milonga. These classes are suitable for individuals as well as couples. Please email dance@tangoe14.co.uk if you are interested or book straight away at the milonga ask Anita.
