This Saturday 15th June class will be with Tony and Anita, warmly welcoming and embracing beginners and those further afield. To suit all levels this week’s lesson will be on giros. We will start with the basics and build on musicality and playfulness for more advanced dancers.
Learn how to dance giros with confidence and ease. Learn the underlying techniques for those that want a refresher are new to giros and for advanced dancers Tony will teach you a sequences with change of timing and asking you to be playful. After learning how to improvise with it we will ask you to dance the sequence in a different order or to change the timing of it.

Getting here
Take the Dockland’s Light Rail (DLR) to Crossharbour station. At the foot of the station stairs, cross Eastferry Road at the pedestrian crossing, then keep going straight ahead as you are on Glengall Grove. The hall is 150 metres down on the right.
Buses 277, 135, D6 and D8 will take you to the ASDA store at Crosshabour. Walk along the path on the right of the Health Centre car park, this takes you directly to Glengall Grove and St John’s Community Hall.
