This Saturday 8th June class will be with Tony and Anita, warmly welcoming and embracing beginners and those further afield. To suit all levels this week’s lesson will be on paradas and barridas. Basically, movements that require the leader to touch the follower’s foot.
Class on paradas and barridas
The class will start with basic technical exercises such as finding your axis followed by how to follow and lead a figure involving barridas and paradas. Paradas could lead into a stop however these are to be used in moderation in social tango dancing. Barridas have 2 variations one straight and one circular. For the next level we will give you the challenge to repeat on the other side and to disassemble the sequence and to put it back together differently. This aims to learn how to apply the sequence and to learn how to improvise.
Private tuition available
There are slots of an hour before or after this Saturday event for private tuition suitable for couples. If you are interested in booking a private class please ring Tony Lane on 02075383852.
