The last Tango E14 afternoon of the summer! Afternoon with milonga and vals class by Kiran and Anita, enjoy your last tango summer fix before the break in August.
This is your last opportunity to get your tango on at Tango E14 this summer, with tango tunes and DJ set list by Anita and the usual lighting as well as nibbles and cake to follow up on Anita’s birthday!
Class on vals
As per request from a few of our regular dancers, we will be teaching how to dance to tango vals this Saturday afternoon Expect exercises on how to change the timing and flow of walking to the 3/4 meter of the music as well as a slight lilt and sway in the body. Most common steps in the vals are beside the walk (caminata), ochos (pivots), giros (turn around the leader) with and without saccadas and cadenas (movement chain, looped/ repeated movement). Class suitable for beginners as well as more advanced dancers for all levels.
Private classes available
There are slots available for private classes occasionally before the group class or after the milonga. These classes are suitable for individuals as well as couples.
