You don’t need to go to Argentina to experience the thrill of dancing tango to a live orchestra. The El Caminito Community Tango Orchestra is playing again after last year’s big success at award-winning dance school, Tango E14, on Saturday 18 July. Don’t miss out and book tickets using the buttons below!
You can easily find Argentine Tango music and dancers on the internet, but here is a fantastic opportunity to experience and dance to this music live in East London. The Caminito Community Tango Orchestra is a project that has been going for many years. On the 18th of July, it will be led by Simon Cook (bandoneon) also part of Tango Quartet El Chamuyo. Other guest musicians are: violinist Kamila Bydlowska and pianist Adam Dyer, both are also members from the Tango Quartet El Chamuyo.
The founder of the orchestra is Caroline Pearsall, UK international musical director, violinist and educator, she fell in love with Tango music and wants to spread the tango experience. She created the Caminito Tango Orchestra in London, and other cities in the UK. Aiming to form full dedicated tango orchestras with a wide variety of musicians, professionals as well as amateurs. The music, the dexterity of the musicians, and their combined interaction is a special musical experience. If you would like to join them, go to www.creativecaminito.org
Treat yourself to a new musical experience, and come along, whether you want to dance or just listen.
