Saturday 23rd May, milonga and class taught by Anita and Kiran on paradas, sandwich or sanduichito and for improvers a gancho at the end!
This Saturday another exciting afternoon and the longest running milonga in East London and one of the most laidback and friendly milongas in London! Don’t miss out this Saturday on your tango fix, with great tunes from our resident DJ Andy and our relatively new lighting! We might even provide ice-cream as it is going to be a hot one! Please bring plenty of fluids and dress accordingly!
Be aware there are closures on District, Piccadilly line and the DLR.

Class on parada, sandwich and gancho!
The last few weeks we have been working on ochos, boleos and the combination we are teaching today is a very common one. Ocho followed by parada (stop), then the foot of the follower gets sandwiched and then either lead pasada or ocho out. This is for the beginners we will go over the difference between both sides as you can lead it on both sides and how you can express more articulate the timing when you are doing the sandwich and also how you can express different dynamics during the ochos. For more advanced dancers we will explain how to lead a gancho after the parada without losing the connection with your partner!
Private classes available
There are slots available for private classes occasionally before the group class or after the milonga. These classes are suitable for individuals as well as couples. Please email dance@tangoe14.co.uk if you are interested or book straight away via the website: https://tangoe14.co.uk/private-classes/
