For the first time since 2 weeks no disruptions planned on the DLR! No holding back in joining Tango E14 this Saturday for a class on barridas and dancing at the most laidback milonga in London.
Come this Saturday 30th May for learning in a friendly tango community and a laidback afternoon. The afternoon milonga is with inspiring tunes from DJ Andy Warner and with intimate lighting! For a relaxed environment come to Tango E14!
Class on barridas
Building on last week’s class however this also a standalone class on barridas. For beginners there is the ocho, parada combination followed by the circular barrida. With the more advanced dancers we will be looking at what the difference is between circular barrida and a linear barrida using an Americana to get into the linear barrida. For the uninitiated: barrida means sweep in Spanish and refers to the leader sweeping the foot and leg of the follower either in a circle over the floor or in a line. Curious? please come and see!
Private classes available
There are slots available for private classes occasionally before the group class or after the milonga. These classes are suitable for individuals as well as couples. Please email dance@tangoe14.co.uk if you are interested or book straight away via the website: www.tangoe14.co.uk/private-classes/
