Saturday 6th June Tango E14 is on with a class on linear barridas and Kiran is back. For those that weren’t there last week we will repeat the circular barridas first.
This week again no engineering works planned on the DLR! woohoo! Please come and join the most relaxed milonga in East London! Again with great tunes from Andy Warner and lovely lighting! Plus lots of new ideas from last week’s International Queer Tango Festival! Tony, Kiran and Anita did Gaston Olguin’s class on saccadas and it was amazing! Please do ask us about it.
Class on linear barridas
First half of the class will be tango grounding and basic technique exercises, followed by explaining how the circular barridas go. We quickly recap last week’s ocho, followed by parada and barrida combination. Then we add on the linear barridas that we showed but didn’t explain. So this week we will explain how to lead and follow this elegantly and how to be playful with it and where you can improvise to create fancy footwork!
Private classes available
There are slots available for private classes occasionally before the group class or after the milonga. These classes are suitable for individuals as well as couples. Please email dance@tangoe14.co.uk if you are interested or book straight away via the website: https://www.tangoe14.co.uk/private-classes/
