
The tango maestros Los Ocampo are back! Tango E14 is proud and honoured to have Los Ocampo back as guest teachers this Saturday 13th of June.
Los Ocampo are gracing us on their summer visit to the UK and have a prepared a special class for us on musicality and what tango moves make tango? What is the essence of tango? About Los Ocampo
Often quoted “just wonderful people” by anyone that is a longstanding member of the tango scene albeit dancer, organiser or teachers, pro or not. They are very popular as teachers. They are not only long standing top Dancers, Performers and Teachers of Argentine Tango, but they are wonderfully accessible, approachable, and have been coming to London for a long time.
Los Ocampo divide their time between teaching at their schools around the world, touring widely and performing at prestigious international venues. They are also official adjudicators at the annual International Tango Championships in Argentina and other international competitions. They are often engaged as cultural and artistic ambassadors for Argentine music and dance. Los Ocampo are masters not only of Argentine Tango but also of Argentina’s folkloric dances, such as Chacarera, Zamba and Malambo. Class on what makes tango, tango
Los Ocampo are proficient at tailoring the class to all levels in the room. This class will be open level for suitable and inspiring for all. The class is on the essentials of tango, what makes tango, tango and what timing should you use or can you use?
Private classes available
There is one slot available for a private class with Los Ocampo 5-6pm after the milonga. This class is suitable for individuals as well as couples. Please email dance@tangoe14.co.uk if you are interested.

Getting here
Take the Dockland’s Light Rail (DLR) to Crossharbour station. At the foot of the station stairs, cross Eastferry Road at the pedestrian crossing, then keep going straight ahead as you are on Glengall Grove. The hall is 150 metres down on the right.
Buses 277, 135, D6 and D8 will take you to the ASDA store at Crosshabour. Walk along the path on the right of the Health Centre car park, this takes you directly to Glengall Grove and St John’s Community Hall.
