Saturday 3rd of October another creative and laidback afternoon with Argentine Tango dancing in St Johns Community Centre with class taught by Anita with variations on the sandwich followed by the milonga.
Coming soon our new lighting plan for the winter as darker days and afternoons are coming. And next week we will have Eleanor as a guest TDJ! This week DJ Anita will make a new playlist and have the usual lighting and decorations up.
Class on the Sandwich or El Sanguichito con gancho / con arrestres
This week we will start a with a technical warm up followed by how to lead a sandwich or el sanguichito for beginners and for more experienced dancers we will go over how to do a sandwich with different rhythms and with leg sweeps and as cherry on the cake how to lead and follow the hook or gancho from a sanguichito. This builds on previous lessons where we learnt to follow and lead an ocho followed by a parada. However, feel free to join all levels are welcome!
