
This Saturday 9th May is another lovely laidback afternoon at Tango E14. Spend an afternoon at one of the oldest milongas in London. This week a class with 2 levels; beginners and intermediate on voleos taught by Anita.
Another great afternoon on the Isle of Dogs, please join Anita and Tony for a friendly welcoming milonga with great tunes by Andy Warner. With lovely lighting, creating a cosy atmosphere.
Class on voleos
After last week’s start with Pablo Nievas we will continue the theme of voleos, The first 45min we will do tango basics and technical exercises and shortly recap ochos and giro for beginners followed in the last 45min with the last part on different types of voleos for more advanced level of dancers. Boleos from backward ochos led by change of weight and from forward ochos and from linear pathway into circular.
Private classes available
There are slots available for private classes occasionally before the group class or after the milonga. These classes are suitable for individuals as well as couples. Getting here
Take the Dockland’s Light Rail (DLR) to Crossharbour station. At the foot of the station stairs, cross Eastferry Road at the pedestrian crossing, then keep going straight ahead as you are on Glengall Grove. The hall is 150 metres down on the right.
Buses 277, 135, D6 and D8 will take you to the ASDA store at Crosshabour. Walk along the path on the right of the Health Centre car park, this takes you directly to Glengall Grove and St John’s Community Hall.
